If you are not coming to the reunion, you need a good excuse and a note from your Mom. The following reasons have been tried and are unacceptable.
Excuse #1: I'm overweight.
Rebuttal: You're not alone. Note t-shirt sizes being offered.
Excuse #2: I'm a different person than I was in high school
Rebuttal: Lucky for you, we ALL are. Let's face it: we could only have improved.
Excuse #3 I don't look as good as I'd like. I (choose one or more) am bald, have wrinkles, saddlebags, grey hair and no one will recognize me.
Rebuttal: Guess what! You won't recognize anyone else, either. Using the reunion committee as a representative sample, our whole class looks like a "before" photo in a plastic surgery ad.
Excuse #4: I'm not successful. I'm not (choose one or more) a lawyer, a doctor or rich.
Rebuttal: You'll be pleasantly surprised to find how much everyone has matured. We may be plump and wrinkled (see Excuse #3, above) but we're not stupid. Money is not success.
Excuse #5: I was not in a popular clique in school
Rebuttal: Now that we're old and smart, those cliques have dissolved just like the superficialities they were based on. The only cliques you'll notice at the reunion will be the sound of your joints as you walk around.

REUNION RSVP

Hello everyone,
    This email is just a quick reminder that we REALLY need to start getting a realistic head count as to who will be attending the reunion and/or buying a shirt.  We will be accepting payments until October 12th but you can RSVP via email before then.  That's fine if you will be paying at a later date BUT RSVP NOW letting us know if you will be attending (or if you will not be attending) and how many guests you will be bringing.  Also, let us know how many shirts you'll need.  For those of you that have already paid for your tickets and shirts, THANK YOU and there is no need to RSVP.  You can RSVP via email at psjamemorial2001reunion@yahoo.com.  Thank you.

Hello Class of 2001,

     First off, hello and hope this email finds everyone doing well.  The reunion date has officially been set for  October 22 and October 23, 2010.  Please feel free to contact us by email at psjamemorial2001reunion@yahoo.com or visit http://psjamemorial2001reunion.blogspot.com if you have any questions or classmate contact information.  Also, you can RSVP via email or the webpage so we can figure out how many people will be attending the reunion.  If you have any old school pictures please email them to us if you can.  In addition, please forward this email to any PSJA Memorial 2001 classmates you know.  We hope that with all of your help we can get this information out there to every classmate so that everyone can make it!!  Reunion event information is listed below:
